Bernard of Chartres said: “We are like dwarves perched on the shoulders of giants, and thus if we are able to see far then it is not at all because of the acuteness of our sight or the stature of our body, but because we are carried aloft and elevated by the magnitude of the giants.”
Of the many good memories, one surpasses them all. I remember having a chat with you after my physiology oral exam. You had big expectations of me but I choked! You turned it into humor and I recall you telling me “ you could have finished this one; …. try and practice by talking to the girls… anyway; I will be waiting for you in the department of medicine during your 4th year”
It gave me the assurance to pursue internal medicine as a specialty. I want to say “ Thank you and God Bless”. May He grant you eternal Rest. You were a giant and you carried and elevated many. Your immense impact will never be forgotten.
